Hello Rider Staff,

The following information is helpful if a student has requested a letter of recommendation from you. If you have any questions about Maia Learning please reach out to the counseling administrative assistant or the college coordinator.

• Recommenders may upload only one recommendation per student to the Common App using Maia Learning.
• Be sure to include the Common App Teacher Evaluation Form, as it must accompany your letter.

Important: Your letter should be generalized and not addressed to a specific college so it can be used for any school the student applies to.

Please note that letters do have deadlines. The Maia Learning system and the counseling office do not send additional reminders. If you are unable to complete a letter for a student, please let the student know as soon as possible so they can ask another recommender.
